The first half was pretty good. Houston’s only chance was their defense and once the high-powered NE offense started pulling away in the 3rd quarter it was boring for me.
Neither Pittsburgh nor KC were very inspirational to me. Both seemed a bit lackluster. Pittsburgh never scored a TD and KC had one good drive at the start and one semi-decent drive at the end with the help of penalties. KC kept shooting itself in the foot with penalties. I’ve watched Smith since he joined the Niners and he was always good enough to be pretty good but never championship material. Generally, pretty boring for me especially after the GB-Dallas game which was a hard act to follow.
I’ll be surprised if NE doesn’t stomp Pittsburgh into the ground. I’ll be surprised if it isn’t over by the first half. If not, then sometime in the second half NE as it always does when necessary, will find that extra gear and it’s hasta la vista, baby.
Look for my fearless detailed analysis which Ill post in a few days on this thread and on a new thread, like I have the last two weeks, called 2016 NFL Championship Weekend: Analysis & Viewing Sheet. Good stuff. The stuff dreams are made of... :)
Jim, could you ping me when you post that analysis? Thanks
