Renowned wartime singer Dame Vera Lynn has described reaching her 100th birthday as "an incredible adventure of song, dance and friendship".

Happy birthday to a lovely lady with a lovely voice, who gave hope to many during dark days.
I'm happy to hear that she's still performing. Here are a couple of my favorites.

I do not remember her but her career and contributions to us all go beyond her 100 years. The WWII “Greatest Generation” are dying off and Vera lets us celebrate them today!
Vera Lynn turns 102 today.
