Bashar al-Assad: If You Want the Truth, Look to the Alternative Media
The following interview with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was conducted by a group of French reporters. Mr. Assad was asked questions in English, and answered in English. However, the French channel that released the interview included only an on-screen French translation of the questions. In this video, the questions have been translated back into English and superimposed over the French versions.
Regardless of ones opinion of the Assad regime, Mr. Assads answers are lucid, clear, intelligent, and informative. Instead of reading what the mainstream media have to say about Bashar al-Assad, listen to what he has to say for himself.
And theres at least one place I absolutely agree with him: French politics harmed the French interests.
NOTE: One of the eleven questions asked of Mr. Assad was accidentally repeated in the English titles. Look at #9 in the transcript of the questions to read the text of the correct question (which should have been at about 8:45 in the video).
Many thanks to Ava Lon for translating the questions:

Yeah, I'm hesitant to say more because it was kind of sensitive. I used to work for the federal government in D.C. in national security-related work and from my perspective there appeared to be an organized effort to third-worldize our country. I hope to God the election of Trump not only stops this but rectifies this. I must confess, I am both amazed and disturbed by the Globalist Big State offensive against Trump even prior to his taking office. This is very powerful and dangerous entity that must be dismantled. It is insanely out of control and now a colossal force for evil. I think Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, as former head of DIA, saw a lot more than I did and is equally frightened of what a nasty monster this has become. It's amazing how power and money can override (or cause the compartmentalization of) all the basic values and virtues a man was raised once cherished. Sorry, kind of off topic but sort of related.
As Americans we naively believed all people want liberty. We ignored history showing that islam is incompatible with liberty. Obama envies radical islam. He craves the power it provides so has done everything he can get away with to expand islam’s reach.
I believe you’re spot on. The Left is intelligent and ruthless in their will to power. They are truly Machiavellian and evil. They must be confronted with every tool available to destroy them.

There was absolutely no justification for our attempts to overthrow the government of Syria. Same could be said for Libya.
The obama regime supported the terrorists. Was it on behalf of the Muslim Brotherhood? A pipeline? The world bank? I cannot answer that but we had no justification for supporting terrorists."
Recall the following to consider how long ago the Syria issue was in play for Obama:
Imagine if a republican had done that. The investigations would have never ended.
obama got away with just about everything because he’s black (at least 1/2). Too many idiots with white guilt. The clown-in-chief should be in prison.
Why shouldn't he. It's the new double standard.
