You are correct and I misstated the source. However, in the spirit of fake news attributing the source of the comment to Dan Rather seems somewhat appropriate.

With that in mind can we as conservatives start some fake news that would harm the liberals. Oh Wait there is nothing of any slander that would not be acceptable to the left.
