Hallitseva Miss Helsinki Hannaleena Laaksamo kehotti finaalivalinnan jälkeen uutta Miss Helsinkiä olemaan oma itsensä loppuun asti. Hänen mukaansa ei tarvitse olla pinnallinen ollakseen missi. Missivuoden kohokohdaksi hän nostaa kaikessa yksinkertaisuudessaan kruunun saamisen Jessica Ruokolan siitä luovuttua.

Neljänneksi sijoittui Melina Häyrinen ja viidenneksi Salla Nyholm.

Beautiful, but it looks as if Lars Johnson went overboard with the filters, trying to warm it up. That, or her hair really is pinkish. Maybe it is, the doyennes of the local old money enclave have an odd style, instead of blue hairs they’re Irving Park Strawberry Gray. Pink.
Pretty dress. The hair is a funny color, the makeup is harsh, and egad! Those eyebrows!
If I picked 5 or 6 would I be considered a racist? They are the 2 I would pick to go out on a date with. (so long as my wife didn’t know) The others didn’t appeal as much to me. I had a Finnish girlfriend years ago, and she was better looking than any of these pictured. However, I have always said there are no 10’s in this world. Why? Because I have learned that there is always a flaw beyond their looks.
She’s very pretty. Especially in the lacy dress.

Miss France looks Mexican to me. Not a classical French appearance at all.
Her dimples are cute.
I think she’s a blonde, but her hair has been lightened and silvered-up a bit. It was a fad for a while in the U.S., too. Bill the Son dated a girl with her hair dyed silver, but it didn’t last long.
I agree, the winner is ugly and it’s not because she is not white. Her nose is huge, she has no waist and she has what we used to call “pones” on the sides of her upper legs. It has nothing to do with her blackness. There are lots of beautiful black women, she just isn’t one of them!

I didn’t say ugly, just homely. Her features are quite irregular. In her gown, she looks like a young woman in a pretty dress who’s a little plain. If she has a sweet personality, she’d be very popular at cotillions and garden parties.
And no, it has nothing to do with her being black. There are many black women who I think are beautiful. It’s just that this young lady isn’t one of them.
Especially if you had a lavender tint!
I saw an acquaintance at church this morning who has stopped coloring her hair brown. The natural gray looked very attractive.
White women cannot win beauty pageants anymore, it has been dictated from on high.
