Said you used to love beer and tomato juice......w/ a twist.
Paragraph separating your thoughts would have been nice.

The twist was dropping the tomato juice and instead using salt, Louisiana hot sauce and lime.

Used to means no longer, is it that hard for you to understand. Good grief some people need a hobby besides trying to correct people on the internet.
To: 4everontheRight
Yes. Not permanent cure, but relief for many hours.

Btw, you can buy an ointment containing capsaicin for arthritis.
My homebrew is essentially the same idea, only cheaper.
Hope this helps, FRiend!

Jacques Hot Hot Chocolate
Finely grate bittersweet chocolate; mix /w/ dry milk powder, cayenne pepper, to taste. Store in jar.
TO MAKE ONE CUP:
Use 1/2-cup of chocolate mixture with each cup of hot milk or water. When making the hot chocolate, be sure to boil the chocolate milk for at least 15 seconds. Use a cinnamon stick to stir. Serve with mini-marshmallows. Food Network Recipe courtesy of Jacques Torres.

I buy seeds at the store. Most places that sell seeds have them. Then I used seeds from the plants I grew. this year, the plants grew from the base of last year’s plants. I started to pull the old ones in early spring and found they had tiny sprouts at the bottom, so I left the rest, they grew quite well.
I don’t know of peppers you buy at the store would have viable seeds, unless you can get them fresh. dried ones might not if they are heat dried. Sun dried peppers do have viable seeds, that’s how I dry mine for seeds, I dry a handful every year.
