My dad was an Illinois lawyer.
Back in the 60's when I was in seventh grade, I liked to pull his law books down from the shelf and show my friends the statute on the abominable and detestable crime against nature and what should happen to whomever should commit same. They had questions, and I had the answers. Better than the dictionary, LOL!
How much better my childhood, had the internet existed!

I'm not sure about that. You wouldn't have been able to impress your friends with a trip to Dad's law library to show your ability to look stuff up. Right?
