I think the rifle at 0:51, 1:27, 2:43 appears to be FAMAS. I this correct? How did this unit in Syria get to be equipped with it?
Or is it a DIO KH2002 (Khaybar) rifle?
How did they get it? Obama, clinton, kerry pick anyone and you win.
It’s a FAMAS with a flat-top rail mount, and an improvised butt stock that was taken off of a machinegun.
Looks to be a FAMAS-F1.
Trigger guard is very distinct.
The French supplied the UAE with FAMASes. Perhaps the UAE passed armed their allies in Syria with them.
Probably a gift from McCain, Graham and Rubio.
Back in the early stages of the Iraq war, one of the supervisors in my company's corporate tax dept. was deployed to Iraq. One of his responsibilities was to provide firearm instruction to Iraqi soldiers. He said it was almost impossible to each them anything because all they would do was point their rifles in the direction they wanted to shoot and pull the trigger until their magazines were emptied.......
Might be a Croat VHS, but I think FAMAS.
Nice job, fellas.

$$$$ talks, any make any model is available. How about all those STG 44’s they found in Iraq. I wonder where they are now? Foreign armies up grade and trade in their older models and the arms dealers buy them wholesale. Gotta love the marksman training of those Syrians. Where did they park the deuce and a half for all that ammo they’re using up.
Some of the FALs spotted in Syria were traced as having come from the UAE, so that’s certainly possible.
Sounds like “inshallah” in action.
It’s a Glock ...
... or an AR-15.
If the cameraman were better I could be more certain which. As is, I only can be sure it’s a Glock ...or an AR-15.
