Gabriel Sherman reports in New York Magazine on Megyn Kelly’s departure from Fox News for NBC. Sherman’s sources claim that the cable network hopes to replace Kelly with a “pro-Trump conservative” female host in order “to align itself with the new administration.” Another Fox insider tells Sherman that Rupert Murdoch “balked when Kelly asked for $25 million late in the talks,” a claim which a source close to Kelly disputes.

It would be a good idea to get someone who isn’t necessarily pro or anti anyone, but reports truth.

Bring over Kennedy from Fox Biz, I’d also be happy with Jedediah Bila. She’s being wasted on The View.

Funny how two people see things differently. The sexiest thing about Trish is her voice and slow measured well thought out responses even when off the cuff. Love just listening to her.
Malkin is good and she deserves to be acknowledged. Her face and spirit have been missed. With the new ‘game’ in town, new fresh faces and ideas might be more attune to the viewers in general (rather than ‘make overs’ of old pros) Nothing derogatory meant in the description of ‘old pros’
Tomi is green, but every face begins green before it ripens. Kelly was green before she began to ferment.
I am sick of them as well. Honestly, that lineup on Outnumbered is almost a joke. Tight, short, sleeveless dresses, big boobs, cleavage, legs that can barely be crossed without exposure.....pathetic. I’m somewhat surprised that the women, if they’re serious news people, go along with this.
OTOH, some don’t seem to. I like Shannon Bream. I also don’t mind Martha McCallum. Dana Perino doesn’t dress like a skank, but I don’t like her politics.
I’d love to see Michelle Malkin join Fox. She’s a tough gal, and serious about the corruption - she’s be great at giving us a day to day account of the swamp draining.

Yep, it’s interesting that one can declare “needs to be female” without a second thought but if the opposite were said it’d be discrimination.
I once watched a documentary about mining, the huge trucks they used were *all* driven by women. The owner said they only hire women for the job because they’re “more patient” than men. No hesitation in saying it, amazing. I can only imagine the lawsuits if they openly stated they only hired men.

I’m not so sure if it’s a good thing when news organizations feel compelled to “align with” any administration. Fox News can do what they want, but what would we say if MSNBC, or any news outlet, admitted they chose an anchor to align with a dem President?
Yeah, Bream is probably the best and most qualified.

MY further conclusions:
Fox’s shift to the left/center was an EPIC FAILURE!
They just became “one” of the other guys.
They have recognized their mistake and are making a MAJOR correction. Not for “the country”, but for their bottom line.
Who cares why? We’ll take the WIN.
