We have an understanding vet now. Going in, he *knows* I’m on a fixed income and can’t afford *surprises*. He, so far, has been kind enough to work with me, and orders special tests, etc., sparingly.
When I told my doctor I couldn’t afford an operation,
he offered to touch-up my X-rays.
