When Bobby Was Seven

When Bobby was seven,
He liked playing games,
Liked working out puzzles,
And had puzzled aims.

He mostly was smiling,
About average size,
And his exercise program,
Involved mainly his eyes.

He liked to hear music,
Couldn’t figure out dance,
His movements reflected,
All those ants in his pants.

As his friends fondly noted,
There was surely a way,
Having made it to seven,
He’d grow up one day.

In my case it’s decades. But not ‘til tomorrow. Officially at 1:55 AM.

I only made a credible dummy once.
Got me into trouble.
Ask others about “cousin Gomer”.

Mine too. On the date I wrote the poem.

Frank is 7. He’ll be 8 in May.

You don’t look a day older than 37.

Yes, well, I have a reunion coming up Labor Day weekend, but I don’t remember which one it was. The last one, ten years ago (or eleven, I think) was a shock because had it not been for name tags, I would not have known who all those old people were!

My sister looks remarkably older than I, poor baby.

My brothers made a dummy once on Hallowe’en. They put it in the road on a blind curve on Main Street, a block from out home.

I was too young to answer any questions.

Wow. Two squees for the price of one! I’m very cold, and I’m waiting for the bathroom to warm up.

After I open the clubhouse, I’ll go to Walgreen’s and get my prescription. I don’t think I’ll have enough left over to go to Walmart.

All of a sudden I seem to be out of almost everything. How’d that happen? *sheesh*

(I checked to tagline quote and corrected it.)

Sorry folks. I must be still asleep.

Good morning. I’m cold, too. I will have a shower once I’ve marshalled some young persons into productive activity.

I’ve opened the clubhouse and I’m headed for Walgreen’s, now. Then home for a breathing treatment.

Thanks!

You’re welcome.

I hassled Tom, Elen, and Sally off to Mass. The girls are going on a camping trip with a friend later.

It must be January. The co-pay on my prescriptions went up. *sigh* I’m so far in the hole when the month starts, I don’t know if I will ever be able to catch up.

Looking on the bright side, maybe I’ll be able to lose that clingy 15 pounds that doesn’t want to leave me.

:o|

Yeah, me too.

The right side of my head is all blocked up. I feel sideways.
