Donald Trump’s team has struggled to line up prime talent to perform at his inauguration, and he’s reportedly livid as a result.
Mark Burnett, who created and produced The Apprentice, is overseeing the inauguration festivities, and even he seems to be grasping at straws. So, he brought in talent recruiter Suzanne Bender, who is a former booker on Dancing With the Stars and American Idol, to help. Her arrival is seen as a “hail mary” shakeup to satisfy the “unhappy” Trump mere weeks before the inauguration.
A number of top-list performers, including Garth Brooks, Elton John, and Andrea Bocelli, were asked to take part in the Inauguration festivities but declined. Bocelli seemed to be on the verge of saying yes but reportedly passed after pressure from fans. This does appear to be a common concern among performers, as they don’t want to “normalize” Trump and alienate their own fanbase. Dixie Chicks manager Simon Renshaw clued The Wrap in about Trump-related fears for performers: “If anyone does do it, I hope that the check that they get is in the nine figures. Because it’s probably the last check they’re ever going to get.”
Despite their difficulties, there are apparently a few acts that will participate. Consequence of Sound reveals that the lineup includes the following acts: The American Gentleman; The Reagan Years (“one of the HOTTEST ’80s cover bands”); wedding band The Mixx; DJ Freedom; and The Star Spangled Singers. In a late breaking bit of news, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints announced that The Mormon Tabernacle Choir will be performing during the festivities. So, it’s shaping up to be a rocking party.

I know that our president-elect is a consummate showman, which is one of the reasons he was able to outrun all the other GOP candidates. But he gained substance as the campaign progressed and those of us who voted for him over Hitlery did so knowing he represented our values.
It would send a terrific message to the entire country to suspend the usual inauguration ceremonies. Just take the oath at an appropriate place with the appropriate witnesses. Then adjourn to the oval office for a full day’s work cancelling Obamalamadingdong’s egregious executive orders.

Hire the Navy guys who do the Frankie Valle songs, they’re great, and Trump is their supreme commander.
ALL the military bands already play the various Inauguration activities. They are looking for “entertainment” beyond that, i.e. for the Inaugural Balls.
I truly hope that President Trump realizes that Hollywood, the MSM, and other elitists in the government and around the country don’t just hate him, but hate America, and continually will attack both him and us until they are dealt with: hit in the pocketbook.
After a major, major purge of those in government who have broken the law, subverted justice, and worked to oppress us all, President Trump should become known as the “Anti-Oligarch President”.
Big media is an oligarchy. It needs to be broken up. Financial institutions that are “too big to fail”, are a threat to the economy, so need to be broken up so they are no longer a threat. Multinational corporations that want access to our markets must produce in the US, hire Americans, and pay US taxes. Otherwise they can peddle their products elsewhere.
And it should be illegal for any foreign person or organization to contribute money to any candidate for office in the US.

These A$$holes are not only rejecting Donald Trump, they are rejecting the people. The same people who have listened to their music, bought their music, and went to their concerts, are now being told there are strings to how, when and why they will perform for us. So does this mean they are going to vette us before we buy their crap or maybe see our voter registration card before being allowed into their concerts? Screw them!
