A professor of mine actually wrote a paper on that very thing, which was quite celebrated. It took about 18 months for someone to find a flaw in it. He tried defending it and rewriting it to no avail.

Suffered a nervous breakdown.

True story.

Good question - unbeknownst to me, that value apparently has been determined (see the link in reply 50):
