Very nice Red Coat poem, and I just love David McCullough. My favorite way to “read” is audiobook in the car. McCullough’s voice is also outstanding.

Highly recommend:

1776
The Wright Brothers

Hopefully my library system has a copy of John Adams. Thanks for the tip.

Ahah! A fancy car, eh? I laugh at your expense. But it touched me, coz I drive a 1988 woody wagon. I have no such luxurious amenities. I’m lucky there are seatbelts in the dang thing. A little cassette player...find an occasional cassette Bing Crosby at a tag sale. LOL

I love audio books, but now that I’m retired...I don’t do the blasted commute any longer. HEEHAW!

Me & my woodie [AKA the Ronnie Raygun] are vintage, no frills, shabby chic. :P

Back to the book .... it’s a nice read, more like a story that unfolds. I have no idea how perfectly accurate it is; but I like it. Go for it! Let me know what you think.
