The campaign had to have made a very substantial nonrefundable deposit that they forfeited. But the campaign money isn’t their own, so who cares?
I always thought the fireworks were their adolescent way of “giving the finger” to Trump, who’d have been able to see them from his election night perch. I am curious as to what made them cancel just a few nights before the election. Did they have a clue they’d actually lose??
