My ex was really angry that I refused to ever tell my children there was a santa. It did them no harm.
In fact, I was visiting two of them in prison last week and asked if they felt they had been cheated by never believing in Santa. They both said no.
...like clockwork...

If I had kids I would let Santa in the house and the Easter Bunny.
They are part of the lessons of Christ and easy for children to understand.
My Mom always explained them to us in ways that made sense.
When they get to about 6 or 7 I’d crush their little souls with the truth.../S
It’s like the symbol of the Evergreen or analogy of the Egg. Concepts a child can understand.
I still wait for Santa, while sipping Egg Nog laced with Brandy and not that cheap crap either.
And the Easter Bunny is always welcome because I know he brings me those delicious Yellow Marshmallow Chicks every year.
But, my faith and hope are eternal through Christ, Our Lord and Savior.
Man, I wish I had that’s guy’s temperament and could walk on water....
Why would you want to lie about Santa?
He’s a very generous, jolly old man.
He doesn’t deserved to be lied about.
I can remember the massive let down when I found out about 6 years ago.
Isn’t it OK to share in the wonder and fantasy dreams with your children? They’re filled with the wonder and fascination of life. Let them. You don’t have to lie. Just let them enjoy the wonderful fantasies of childhood while grounding them in the even more wondrous love of God the Father through the matchless grace of Jesus Christ.

Let kids be kids...I see no harm in letting them believe in Santa Claus...They get a lot of joy from it...
They’ll learn of the real world soon enough...
