I'd take Williams over the "comedians" that are popular today. Amy Schumer? That other stoner idiot that was in the commercials with her? Feh. At least Williams was mostly original and could be funny.

He did a lot of good work for the USO, as well. I dislike his politics, but I can appreciate his works.

Rest of the list is pretty good. Kinnison was a martyr, a one-note comedian that wouldn't be popular today if he'd lived. And Joan Rivers was a particularly nasty piece of work. But the rest are missed.

I don’t care what ‘good’ you think he did. He was a nasty, rabid liberal that was viciously against Republicans and Conservatives in some of his off-prime time stuff. No way in hell.
