I’m tweeting everyone on the #WIRecount hashtag this:

9.01(1)(ag)3. No petition for which a fee is required is valid unless proper calculated/estimated fee is paid at...filing.

“We have assembled an internal team to direct the recount, we have been in close consultation with our county clerk partners, and have arranged for legal representation by the Wisconsin Department of Justice,” Haas said. “We plan to hold a teleconference meeting for county clerks next week and anticipate the recount will begin late in the week after the Stein campaign has paid the recount fee, which we are still calculating.”

Where is the Wisconsin Board of Elections and Secretary of State? No one in sight to determine if this request is legal, valid, required under law, without proof of wrongdoing or up front payment for the service!!! The Secretary of State reports to Governor, Scott Walker....where is he? Hello....Wisconsin....we the American people are awaiting someone with a backbone & spine enough, to step forward and throw Obama, Stein & Clinton back in the acid cesspool they all belong!!!

Just heard that estimated fee for recount must be paid by tomorrow. The Stein campaign says they raised the money, but is that in pledges or cash? We will se tomorrow as Wisconsin will not accept pledges.

There apparently is a conflict between two statutes. One says estimated fee must be paid at time of filing but another references the fee being paid when an estimate is provided. This may end up in Wisconsin court. Without the required estimate from the state authorities, how could stein pay? That will be the argument.

Has it occurred to the Democrats that in demanding a delayed recount that they may wind up DISENFRANCHISING voters in all the states where the recount can’t be completed in time and the electoral votes may not count?????? I realize Trump and Pence will still take office, thank God.

I thought I read in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that an actual recount will not start until Thursday.

Wisconsin Recount Could Begin Thursday

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The recount of Wisconsin’s presidential election could begin Thursday,
after payment is received from one or both of the little-known candidates who are requesting it.

The Wisconsin Elections Commission voted unanimously Monday to approve the recount timeline. Both
Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein and Independent presidential candidate Rocky De La Fuente
requested a recount Friday, but only Stein has been actively raising money for the effort that could
cost $1 million or more.
