They will say he was not elected by the people but rather by representatives of his own party. This would enable them them to delegitimize Trump’s victory (at least for propaganda purposes).

Yes that is exactly what they will do and is probably their plan anyway (to delegitimize him).
However Trump will still be president and that is what is most important. If Trump does the right thing by putting America first none of this will matter.
Well then DJT will need to run ads paid for by a PAC. The ads will state the actual numbers of 306 Electoral votes won by Trump with the county map and so forth.
Force the truth to be heard, they are not understanding it otherwise.
