It depends...if they allow illegals to vote, as they normally do, then it could possibly pass in alliance with the wacko left. The illegal population is into the Aztlan thing. The big problem for California will be when the Federal Government wants it’s property back - military bases and equipment. California is taxed to the hilt already, they won’t be able to bleed more out once they have to take care of things like national defense all by themselves.

They will become a relatively poor country when things like the Imperial Valley agriculture collapses because they won’t be able to get water from the Colorado River any longer or they no longer have access to the markets of the rest of the U.S. for their tech industry. Lots of things like that - consequences - that they aren’t taking into account in this little effort of theirs - if it passed, the reaction will likely be “Oh Sh*t! What now?”
