NBC News: Kanye West hospitalized after cancelling tour

Kanye West abruptly pulled the plug on his Saint Pablo Tour and was hospitalized in a Los Angeles hospital Monday, a few days after a stormy weekend at Northern California shows.

A representative for the rapper said the remaining 21 dates of West's current tour have been canceled. No reason was given.

However hours later, West was hospitalized at an LA-area hospital, sources told NBC News. He is under observation at the hospital. NBC News reported, "the decision to hospitalize West was for his own health and safety."

Seriously, I hope Kanye's OK - he has a couple of young kids. His best days as a musician are probably behind him, but he was producing and creating some very good rap music about 10 years ago.

He will still be a he, regardless of what he has amputated. That's biology. You can't change a male into a female or vice-versa, regardless of what you surgically take off or add on. You just get a person of the original sex who looks absurd and acts crazy.

We also saw the Gypsy Kings this year. My husband is a flamenco guitarist. That was expensive by our standards (like $75 a seat), but one of the original old guys was playing the guitar, and he was amazing. It looked like he had dementia, because his expression never changed ... he just walked randomly around the stage playing the guitar and everyone went Gaaaaaaaaaah.
