Currently 57 here in Western NY, opening day of deer season (gun), and the front moving through later today with a significant drop in temperature, with snow tonight.
Weatherman says expect high winds, and snow for tonight/tomorrow of anywhere from 4 inches to 1 1/2 feet, depending on location.
Since we are still in 'severe drought' conditions, any water in any form, for ground water, is gratefully appreciated.
Break out the wool socks !

We are in full holiday form.
Fire in the wood stove.
Holiday nuts laid in for cracking.

Wife is making another monster pepper/tomato casserole with peppers picked yesterday. We might have escaped the freeze since it looks like our overnight low was 34. The big lake in our front yard is still in the 60s and steaming each morning.

We have the same conditions here water wise...will you get enough snow for tracking the deer? our population here is great....
