What is the Appetite for a 'Cord-Cutters Ping Group'?
Vanity ^

I have been watching OANN as a cord cutter for three weeks and its positive attitude and its willingness to air news even Fox won't air has convinced me that cord cutters need help (I know I do) locating quality, non-cable sources of programming.
I plan on a separate vanity about One America News Network, but I think cord cutting is a concept that needs to reach a tipping point.
Thoughts?

My news comes through reading. I don’t need a newsreader to read for me.

I’d like to be on that ping list. Currently use roku, firestick, and Apple TV to stream. Haven’t cut cable yet but want to within the next year or so...

I think that would be a great idea -in reference to your title in starting a group for that. We cut the cord a few years back, local channels with a strong attenae and Netflix.
Found Newsmax news on one of the channels we get with our attenae. It is excellent alternative!

Please put me on the ping list! I cut the cord a year-and-a-half ago and am looking for alternatives to cable.

My wife and I only watch online. I think OANN is what everyone should be watching for news.
I watch a number of shows on my iPhone in apps.
We have to completely starve the media. When possible, move to Internet-only packages and catch local news from Over-The-Air (antenna-based) HD sources for free.

I’m thinking of cord cutting, I would love to hear other’s experiences , from those who have done it. Any advice is greatly appreciated, I want to do my part to starve the ESPN beast.

Get a Roku stick. Free full-fledged cable (and then some) and still-in-theater movies via XTV.

Haven’t had cable or broadcast TV for over 10 years and have’t missed it. Put me on the list!

The problem you can't completely cut the cord, mostly because the cable companies have the fastest connections in many cases. In fact, Comcast plans to start rolling out DOCSIS 3.1 gigabit Internet service nationally starting early spring 2017.

Please add me to the list also. Been a cord-cutter for several years. Think it would be great to share thoughts, set-ups, links, etc.
