Things like pardons often result in unanticipated consequences.

wouldn’t the Clintons accepting a pardon be the same as admitting that they had committed crimes for which the pardon is necessary?

JJ should be keeping his pie-hole shut or the new AG will start looking for a reason to indict him, after the time any Obama pardon would be possible.

Obama will pardon Hillary, for anything she may or may not have done...
But, you can’t pardon an IRS bill.
To: ColdOne
They know she’s so guilty.

And seriously, a Pardon
may ultimately be in the best interest of the nation but NOT until ALL of the crimes are documented. Drive a stake through the heart of the matter.
Nah, High Crimes need punishment. Impeach, then pardon if that is the way to go.

The more I think about it, the more I think this a good idea. However they couch it, it will be perceived for all time that she was guilty. Just get her out of the way and be done with it.
It would completely eliminate the accusations that she was being persecuted by her political opponents and put the whole mess to rest.

Hillary is innocent, Jessie. Don’t tarnish her stellar reputation with a sleazy pardon.
To: ColdOne
If Bill is pardoned along with Hillary, that would give him the unique distinction of being both an impeached president and a pardoned one. Talk about making history!

Maybe Jesse is hoping he can get off some charge too. He previously embezzled money from his charity to make child support payments, maybe he’s got some other skeletons.
