President-elect Donald Trump is so disgusted with Chris Christie’s handling of the Bridgegate scandal that he’s kicking the New Jersey Gov. out of his inner circle, The Post has learned.
“Trump thought it was shameful that Christie didn’t take the fall for [convicted aide] Bridget Kelly,” said a source close to the transition team. “Trump is really angry that Christie is sending a soccer mom to jail. He believes 100 percent that Christie was behind it all.”
Christie’s former deputy chief of staff was convicted in federal court earlier this month along with former Port Authority executive Bill Baroni. They were charged with causing dangerous traffic tie-ups on the George Washington Bridge in September 2013 as political payback for Fort Lee Mayor Mark Sokolich not endorsing Christie.

Moved out of sky high property tax land in 2007. I have tried to like this guy but seems like no one does in NJ any more and here’s yet another reason. This doesn’t sound conservative at all, my husband commutes to and works in NJ. Thanks for nothing Christie.

It would be very poor form for Trump to be openly critical of Chris Christie. He didn’t have many friends during the campaign and Chris Christie was one of them.
Chris Christie may not deserve a cabinet level position, but I don’t believe Trump would treat him so.
I actually think Christie wanted to step out of the limelight after his aides were convicted. He wouldn’t want his baggage to tar Trump at this point. And certainly the media (as we see) is going to make this an issue.
If the aides didn’t already implicate Christie, then I doubt he knew anything about Bridgegate.
Christie was Laura Ingraham’s choice.

We on FR need to have the patience of Job because we will ALWAYS be able to flesh out what is going on. That’s what Freepers do! (Tip of the hat to other Freepers, not myself - we have so many who know how to VET the MSM lies and get to the truth).

I won’t believe anything the media reports until I hear it straight from The Donald’s mouth. All these papers want is sales, and you can’t trust any of them.
