The publisher of The New York Times penned a letter to readers Friday promising that the paper would reflect on its coverage of this years election while rededicating itself to reporting on America and the world honestly.

Translation: president trump we hope you dont kick us out of the press pool
Trust but verify... Frankly, I trust the old Soviet Union more than the NY Times.
Once the brand is to the point that “rededication” is seen as necessary, it is way too late. And “redidication” means nothing more than putting the rank partisanship under a thin sheet of muslin or hiring one George Will type of “conservative” to write a column once a month.
Translation......We are hurting financially, perhaps reporting more honestly will help?
Everybody in the room sneezing “*U@@&#!+”...
Basically admitting that they and their reporters were essentially in bed with Hillary. Too little, too late. I hope Trump denies them access completely... No White House reporter, no interviews, no access at all. Oh... And he should cancel his subscription as well.
“re”?
We cannot deliver the independent, original journalism”
Should have stopped right there, he finally said something that wasn’t a lie.
“Thats about as much chance happening as the lasting time of an ice cube in a blast furnace....”
Maybe. But this morning, the most remarkable thing happened. Searching the radio dial it rested upon NPR and the report I heard that was factually accurate in describing how many women (42%) rejected Hillary Clinton and did not succumb to the pressure from the Clinton campaign to vote for Clinton simply because she’s was a woman.
An actual fair report from NPR. I looked above me to see if there were pigs flying.
“Sulzbergerwho insisted that the paper covered both candidates fairly....”
“But we also approach the incoming Trump administration without bias, he said.”
Laughable, shows they don’t get it and will never get it. Hopefully Trump just ignores them, like most of America already does.
“...while rededicating itself to reporting on America and the world honestly.”
They are cultural elitists who are incapable of honest reporting - it’s part of their physical being...a zebra can’t change it’s stripes...
NYT to have a critical eye towards reporting on the government now THAT THE REPUBLICANS WON......hahaha
We believe we reported on both candidates fairly during the presidential campaign. You can rely on The New York Times to bring the same fairness, the same level of scrutiny, the same independence to our coverage of the new president and his team.
So, best I can tell, it is rededicated to changing nothing.
eradicate sounds better. They couldn’t be honest if they were standing in front of God.
But we also approach the incoming Trump administration without bias, he said.
Lol. Lies. All lies.
This is satire, right?
I guess Brooks is going to be replaced by Coulter? I am dreaming of course.
The publishers letter was probably attached to a response from debt holders wondering what they are planning to do to stem the loss of subscribers.

He’s lying.
