I just have to recount this. Today I drove down from Jasper to my doctor in East Cobb to whom I’ve been going for 30 years back when I lived there. He’s and Indian doctor and I’d always thought he’d be liberal.
Today as I was getting my prescriptions refilled we talked as we always have done about general stuff, medical costs, the government and such and I never did get the impression he was conservative in any fashion. Well, he ISN’T but he told me “This government, the way it operates is stupid and corrupt and this government is not there to help the common person. Trump is not my obvious choice but I will vote for him because he is outside of this damned government and I KNOW Hillary is just more of the same. Things have to be changed.”
I smiled all the way home.
