DENVER (CBS4) Investigators say a man who hit and killed a woman on Colorado Boulevard was going 134 miles per hour in a 35 mile per hour zone.
The crash involving four vehicles happened last month.

He admitted to the crime saying he was just being stupid. He said he just moved here from Tennessee to get a fresh start and has been staying with friends. He says he was driving downtown to check out the city when the crash happened.
I killed somebody and I ask for forgiveness, he told CBS4.
White admits he was speeding when the cars crashed on Colorado Boulevard. A woman driving a Prius was killed.
He told CBS4 last month, however, he wasnt driving as fast as police now claim.
I was going 90 miles an hour, White said.
from the crash scene on foot, but its also possible he was picked up by another driver.
White says he remembers the crash, even waking up, but says he thought he was dead. Brice asks, Do you remember how you got there (City Park) or why you didnt have your clothes on?
I really dont know, says White. Something just took over me, told me to go there.
White says he never mean to kill anybody. I just hope that the family forgives me and Im sorry about this, says White.
Hes scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
What was he driving?
Lock him up!
HIGH on something!!
I went 142 mph in eastern Montana on I-94. for twenty miles or so. I gotta say, I don’t know how one could even get up to that speed in a 35 mph zone unless the road was really straight and he hit the lights just right.
In such a situation it’s not “if” you hit something. It’s “when”.
I wonder how the cops knew he was doing 134.
Even 90 is an obscene speed on a surface street.
That must have been some killer weed..
Makes sense using modern math 1+3+4 = 3+5.
They measure the skid marks, crush damage, and vehicle displacement.

thing is, at that kind of speed, city blocks are going by like a picket fence. One of the fascinating things about going 142 was how fast my odometer was turning over tenths of a mile.
134 is 44 MPH faster than 90. It is a level of magnitude more dangerous than 90.
But, as you pointed out, both are pretty fast on surface streets. one of the biggest challenges, ignoring other drivers and pedestrians, is that the surface may not be that smooth, especially at intersections. Intersections could become launching pads to go airborne.
Hanging would be too good for this guy.

Important NOTE!
vehicles 2014 and newer will rat you out via on-board computer
This perp would be toast without that data point.
They measure the skid marks, crush damage, and vehicle displacement.
That’s the big red flag to me. This is not as much of a hard science as they would have us believe.
on-board computer, per story.
Missed that. That would certainly explain it.
His car will testify against him.

Another son of Obama-————not his fault.

I’m in Denver and got it from a 9news.com story (NBC).
