“Numerous conspiracy theories evolved and persist, claiming that the alleged abuse (Franklin) was part of a widespread series of crimes including devil worship, cannibalism, drug trafficking, CIA arms dealing and links with the first Bush Administration.”
Not buying it. This sounds exactly like the McMartin Preschool hysteria that occurred around the same time. That one included little kids claiming that a horse had been butchered and buried in the schoolyard.
Kind of hard to hide that sort of evidence if it had really occurred. It hadn’t, of course, none of the evidence panned out. What really happened is that some truly worthless “interviewers” led the children’s answers, wasted the court’s time, and ruined the McMartins.
McMartin was something all too reminiscent of Salem and its withcraft hysteria, which we imagine we are immune to.
Pedophile Island looks like it is very real. Bringing up old conspiracy nonsense like Franklin or McMartin isn’t helpful.
I recently learned that “conspiracy theory” is a psyops tactic cooked up by the CIA back in the 1960s to discredit Americans who doubted the findings of the Warren Commission.
Just like the Franklin(although the same name is involved, these two scandals are not linked in any way...except they involved the Clintons) Savings Scandal. Ever hear of it ? The Clintons claimed it wasn't true. The executive secretary for the CEO of Franklin Savings told me it was.
Right. Corey Haim was never raped by Hollywood producers and their bed partners, DC politicians, either. He made it all up. /s
Actually the boy claimed Ray Buckey killed the horse at a ranch. Not in the school yard.
