Lots of discussions on 4chan and reddit on what this really means. Keep in mind, this email is supposedly from a law professor at Georgetown. If this isn't code for child trafficking, I don't know what is. A law professor selling beanie babies with personalities? I think not.
Also questions on why this is included in the Podesta dump. Presumably he was bcc'd on it, but who knows.
He’s a liberal. They probably are really beanie babies.
Unless you’re going to make an argument that he children in his basement and wants to unload them.
“My parents are visiting this weekend, and I need to sell my enormous collection of beanie babies! I’ve approximately 480 little creatures of joy, and I’m selling each one for $20.00. You must buy all 480, though. It is a collection (not an auction)...”
Beanie Babie (Person- chic, that sells beans.) That is code speak for an offer to sell the drug- Ecstasy. The street cost is $20 each and you need to show with $9,600 to buy the whole lot.
The visiting ‘parents’ means it’s a fresh buy? they just purchased them and need to sell all at once.
Or they are trafficking in the sale of Mexican girls, but the volume-480 does not make sense in that context. Unless you reverse it possibly $480 each x 20 girls or 20 tricks. Not likely.
Authentic Toy beanie babies have values ranging from $5 - $500 each.
That e-mail goes out to Announcements@law.georgetown.edu. I believe it is thousands of people - staff, students, etc...
I think he is really selling his toy collection.
That one is very strange.
I think the Announcement address probably went to many email addresses.

Georgetown Law Faculty and Staff,
My parents are visiting this weekend, and I need to sell my enormous collection of beanie babies! I’ve approximately 480 little creatures of joy, and I’m selling each one for $20.00. You must buy all 480, though. It is a collection (not an auction)... They are very respectful and amicable with one another, and they are (for the most part) cat and dog friendly. Some are sassier than others, naturally.
Please let me know! My parents can’t find out.
