As a Chicago native this is a before and after moment. It’s like The Wall coming down, it shouldn’t be, I know, it’s just sports, but it is. I spent 47 years in one world, and now I’m not in that world anymore. Crazy.
I've been a life long Cubs fan so it is especially great for me.
Unfortunately, I retired in Florida about 23 years ago and simply didn't have the funds to go to Wrigley for the games there.
I also had to settle for the games on the radio but I was able to listen to them all.
