Lol!! Hallmark, the "Christmas all year round" channel. They have already begun their Christmas programming. By Christmas, your wife should be sick of it. Hopefully she'll concede by then.
I wish it were only the Christmas movies. Yes they run many of them during the Holidays, and they do a "Christmas in July" thing in the summer. Those movies are all cookie-cutter versions of one or two plots. These days, she mainly watches the various mysteries on the Hallmark Mystery channel, which feature Lori Loughlin, Candice Cameron Bure, Allison Sweeney, Brooke Shields and others as a continuing character in their own series of mystery movies.
But, it is wholesome fare. My wife likes laid back programming that isn't very violent with a small town atmosphere. She re-reads the Jan Karon Mitford books in order continuously.
