Research or free vacation?
I could think of much better places for a vacation.
Even in summer, Antarctica is not a pleasant place. Regardless of how fascinating the science research might be, the conditions are grueling. The weather is brutal, and you can die just from going outside if you’re careless, never mind falling in a crevasse.
