I am. Win or lose.
I’m in.
I left them after Bob Dole’s pathetic campaign in 1996
I left to become an Independent a few years ago.
You are late. I reregistered as an independent after the loss of Johnny McInsane.
What, dem lite?
The go along, get along party cause we all be making money party?
The pussy Ryan crappola party?
The internationalist party?
If the have screwed Trump to where he loses, the the GOP e can forever kiss my ass.
See Dilbert (Scott Adams) thread on demoralizing people with trolls.
I wish I could but I already did. My wife and I left two years ago. Too many lies. Too many broken promises. Too many terrible budgets. Too much Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell.
If Trump wins, I’ll stick to see if he can start the trend to rebuild it. If he loses, then it won’t make much never mind.
I want to but I can’t. In Florida, you must be a D or an R in order to vote in the Primary. We should work to change that but neither Party wants it to change. They don’t like Independent thinkers.
Why the hell wait???
I left after the Romney/Obama election. Then reupped for the primary. Just been too lazy since to unrepublican myself again. Thanks for the reminder.
On another note, does anyone here know if the Republican Party is doing ANYTHING to help Trump? In the old days, there were small Republican Party offices all over the place where you could get lawn signs and bumper stickers. There is nothing this election.
MB is for the Muslim Brotherhood. I should have spelled it instead of taking the lazy way out.
I have to stay in if I want to vote in the Primary Elections. Not happy about that, at all.
YUP
Came of age to register in '66 in NYC. Rep. Mayor, Lindsay...Rep. Senator, Javits...Rep. Gov., Rockefeller...so I registered "independent" and have remained so for 50 years.
Bingo! Dam quitters.
Best comment. I’m feeling much the same, it’s been simply exhausting. There are seriously too many people who just don’t get it or just don’t care.
It’s in God’s hands.
I am 90% sure I will leave. I may have to join again to vote against Flake in the primary, but I am fed up with the GOPe.
And I am a precinct committeewoman, so that means I have invested much time helping Republicans.
I’m staying as long as Trump is in the picture. Leaving the GOP after a Trump victory will fuel the news analysis that people are leaving the GOP because Trump is president.
So as long as he is the nominee or president, I remain a Republican.
Once he’s out of the picture, I’m gone for good.
Hopefully that’s about eight years from now.
