You are full of bull.
U.S. Constitution says you vote for Candidates, NOT Electors, and the vote is BOUND, unchangeable.
Read the da*n document before you spread nonsense.
That is not correct.
Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector. The Congress may determine the Time of chusing the Electors, and the Day on which they shall give their Votes; which Day shall be the same throughout the United States. (US Const. Art. I, Sec. 1)
The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President ... (US Const. Amd. 12)
The electors of President and Vice President shall be appointed, in each State, on the Tuesday next after the first Monday in November, in every fourth year succeeding every election of a President and Vice President. (3 USC 1) (3 USC 2 allows the states to shift this day to later, by state law).
The electors of President and Vice President of each State shall meet and give their votes on the first Monday after the second Wednesday in December next following their appointment at such place in each State as the legislature of such State shall direct. (3 USC 7)
State legislatures have prescribed a popular election for the purpose of appointing electors. The states appoint Electors according to a statewide popular election contest.
It is the Electors who cast ballots for candidates.
I have read it. There is NOTHING that binds the electors to a specific candidate.
