Will Apple do a remote kill on them as soon as they get on any phone network? And the phones too. :-)

Jokes on them! Just flick on the GPS feature.
To: PROCON
Since these were display phones, they were likely registered to the store, and have since been remotely bricked, good luck using them, morons.

I go to that Mall regularly.Very fancy stores...Gucci,Burberry,Yves St Laurent, another fancy Italian joint whose name I can't recall and others as well. The types of places you'd expect to see on Rodeo Drive and Worth Avenue.Gucci was robbed for something like $20K of merchandise a few years ago.
I hope this doesn't cause management to restrict "mall walkers" which is why I go there...particularly in bad weather.

Without watching the video can I assume they’re not Amish?
The headline only says they’re teens.

One more point...although Natick and surrounding areas are rather well off there's one area not far away whose residents run in fear when they see an INS vehicle...if ya catch my drift.

In MA, any theft over $250 is Grand Larceny, making it a felony. These numb nuts could face years in prison for stealing phones which, A. can be “bricked” to make them useless, and B. have a built in GPS tracking device.
It is like choosing the most stupid thing one might choose to steal. It has no value to fence and it broadcasts your current location.

Hopefully Apple can kill all phones reported stolen. Though if the phone is IDed by an added Simms card this may not be possible.
