“True Christians” are the catch.

That is difficult to find in many denominations, not just the Roman Catholic one.

But where will this plain (sp corrected) truth find any grip without faith? Otherwise SJW issues crowd it out. “If the foundations are destroyed what can the righteous do?”

It’s why I still pray for the lost in America to turn from their wicked ways, change their minds about living their own lives in their own way, and to follow Lord Jesus Christ and Him alone.

The Catholic vote is completely split by state, race and general region/urban/rural living. There are states where Catholics vote 70% pub and states where they go 70% dem. I doubt much can be drawn from that besides where one lives seems to be a better indicator of one’s politics than religion. Maybe where one lives could also indicate a tendency to adhere more closely to the tenets of a professed belief. Race also seem to be a better indicator.

It also comes up with the ‘why do Jews vote dem’ threads. I mean does any group that tends to live in urban areas at the same frequency as Jews vote any differently than them?

“Wapo ABC Langer survey Trump up 57/33 with Csatholics BEFORE WIKI drop
On a national basis, that is good news. In the electoral college, there is a problem. I know from my direct correspondence with the bishops that two places which are vitally important (FL and NC) have the most doggedly silent bishops. I pray God will open their eyes to the truth and urgency of this election. They have the ability to stop Hillary Clinton all on their own. Failing to do so lays her victory directly at their feet.”

It doesn’t matter what the bishops say or don’t say because the people who need to hear about this hear about it one way or another. If they watched Trump’s Al Smith Dinner speech last night they know the Democrats plotted to overthrow the authority of the pope. It gets to the right ears.

“The Catholic Church in America is not “voluntary silent” and “misguided” at all.”

Correct, it is purposeful. And apostasy. Only a real war in their church will correct it.

Catholic Charities is a subcontractor of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops. Some articles on their muslim refugee placement ‘works’.

Since this is on the News/Activism section of FR, and not the Religion Forum, I feel free to say that perhaps the Roman Catholic Cardinals, Archbishops, and Bishops you tried to reach are, for the most part, very pleased with the way the RCC is heading and see you and those agreeing with you as the big problem.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I have been a practicing Catholic for over 60 years, and ever since the debacle of VC-II, I have watched in horror as the Leftists within the hierarchy have assiduously worked to demolish all of Catholic doctrine and practice judged to be in conflict with leftist ideology.

The Catholic Church . . . is a complicit partner in the diabolical destruction of everything that is good in this nation. And it’s been that way for years. In effect, the Catholic Church in America is no different than the “state churches” that are often found in communist countries.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
No question about it, and I speak as a traditionalist Catholic for over 60 years. The Church pretty much self-destructed when the so-called Modernists within the hierarchy effected a coup d’etat at VC-II debacle.

I don’t know about being a good person. I’ve never made the claim. I do appreciate your prayer, though. May God bless us all.

**Some bishops have spoken out. I call your attention to the bishops of Kansas standing as one to tell their diocesan members they must vote with abortion at the forefront of their thoughts. Archbishop Aquila of Denver gave a very direct statement in support of this effort to confront evil. The most direct so far, though, has been Fr John Lankeit of the diocese of Phoenix during his homily at EWTN. He laid out the issues and the Catholic position firmly and clearly as the voice of his Bishop. His example in every diocese of America would end state sponsorship of abortion. If you haven’t seen it, search for “Homily for October 2, 2016” on Youtube. May it serve as a template to your own contemplations. **
