One revelation in the documents came from an interview with an unidentified person who suggested that Freedom of Information Act requests related to Clinton went through a group sometimes called "the Shadow Government."

Sorry but I am suspicious. I suspect that some of this stuff may be disinformation, and I am leery about trusting an "unidentified Person".

Let's be careful folks and double source our information.

If this were a news "source" I couldn't agree more. But the skepticism you're asking for is unwarranted in this case.

This is not a anonymous news source.

This is an unredacted FBI account released under pressure from Congress. The source of this information is not anonymous: he or she is KNOWN TO THE FBI. That means this is a State Department employee offering what is clearly a testimony against their own interests, in a interview where it is a felony to lie.

That is not the same thing as some jerk telling a "journalist" some story that may or may not be verifiable or even true.

Suspicious of what and why?

Please pay attention: we are no longer a free society. This is the Matrix. If you are old enough, we, the USA, are now exactly like the former USSR we all pitied back in the 1950s/60s/70s/80s. The difference is, we have goods in our stores and you are free to shop if you have the money.

Nor is there no denial that these 7th floor meetings were held, that they dealt with important issues of national security and that quid pro quos were asked for. All the PTB claim is that there were no perks extended in exchange for redrafting charges.

The disinformation may well be that there were no exchanges of *favors*.
