Developing story The New York Times dropped their explosive accusation story about a first-class airline passenger named Jessica Leeds who claimed Donald Trump groped her 30 years ago. The two New York Times reporters for the accusation, Michael Barbaro and Megan Twohey, have a history of questionable reporting about Donald Trump.
Research discovers two additional Donald Trump connected stories with the exact name Jessica Leeds attached, and -adjusted for chronology- the same age as the NYT report.

She gave him an hour to cut that out!
I wonder who is really behind Conservative Treehouse.
The site was run by a guy who used to be a department manager at a grocery store. It used to be a really good source for local news frequently fed by local LEO. It covered local race issues well. It covered Zimmerman and Ferguson well.
All of a sudden they dropped most of the race relation stories. Then they got incredible scoops and excellent insights, written by the owner. For him to be doing it on his own stretches the imagination. I wonder who is behind it all?

Don’t think so. The woman in the pic on the right appears to be as old as the woman on the left is today.
Riiiight.
And it's only a coincidence that these stories support Clinton's narrative
Clinton invented the phrase "bimbo eruption".
Clinton's campaign is built not on issues, but "Trump is mean to women". I've received at least half a dozen of these mailers and not a single one mentions anything at all about her accomplishments, plans, or any issue at all - only "Trump is disrespectful"
Clinton is running a sleazy campaign.
This is designed to hit woman voters. Got into a bit of a row with my wife. She was off her seat when I suggested this woman made it up. She told me about what Trump did on the airplane as though it was fact. I guarantee they would have done this to Cruz, or whomever was up there. Its just a he says, she says accusation.
She just wishes someone took the care to do that to her now.
She is a lying whore.
Thats exactly what I tried to explain to the wife last night. But she said no woman would ever want to put themselves in front of the camera if the story was not true. Great so now every time a claim is made against anyone, we must assume it is true?
I know you said you and your wife got into a bit of a row, but isn't calling her a lying whore a bit strong?
Was he drunk?
No I called Dana that, or is that what you mean?
I basically accused my wife of lacking critical thinking, also known as a liberal.
Actually you can sue the NYT. The standard is higher in that you have to prove “malice”. In this case the NYT has shown a pattern of bias against Trump. They have issued a formal endorsement of his opponent. They have issued other stories with an intent on destroying Trump without the normal fact checking that is expected of a major newspaper and they ran with a Trumped up story that was obviously fabricated with the intention of destroying the reputation of Donald Trump and either knew or should have known the story was false.
All of the necessary elements for a celebrity to sue a newspaper (Per NYT v Sullivan) are present in this case. DT has an excellent chance of prevailing in a lawsuit for libel.
Good info, P-M.
Apparently a different Leeds woman, but the airplane armrest idea put out by gamecock is pretty solid. They didn’t lift in first class seats at that time.
It has come to my attention that certain “lounge seats” on one type of aircraft did raise up. Continuing to check into all of this.
I forgot the S/OFF tag:)
Anyway, the seats that some folks are throwing around with movable armrests seem to be pre-1980 and limited to Braniff Airlines.
The consensus over there is these are the types of first class seats that they remember from the 1980s. I believe them because these folks are hyper-travelers. (The next two pics were lifted from a third site, Airliners.Net)
United 737
Delta 727
.
National airlines, had seats that had armrests that went up on certain aircraft, but they went out of business in 1980:
The above twitter comment is referring to this seat, that is supposed to come from a TWA L1011. I can't find anything backing that up, except for a random picture on Flickr. Note there are no seatbelts and no seat recline, which is odd for a first class seat. I think this is the "lounge seat" mentioned in my earlier post.
I hear you saying that any seats on a commercial airlines first class section would not have had armrests that raised at the time in question 30+ years ago...approx. 1985ish.
That seems to be the consensus among the hyper-travelers.
I got bumped up to 1st class every now and then...rarely...in my enlisted military days. We’re talking the early 70’s. All I remember was bigger seat and more legroom. It normally happened when 1st class was empty or just about, so I never had any nearby ladies to test the armrest theory on.
Leeds said Trump groped her for 15 minutes. I find that really, really hard to reconcile with stewardesses and others moving around a cabin. Plus, Trump was not really a celebrity in 85, so one wonders why she didn’t scream at a stranger groping her in the open on an airplane.
That said, she specifically is quoted as saying “He raised the armrest...” Methinks she’s confusing reality with some harlequin romance she read someplace.
