Yabut if I was heavy, I'd have had to kill them. "Was in fear for my life" and all that. I wasn't in fear of s*** but I woulda had to, because who knows if they might have popped me for kix.
Kinda neat to find out your reaction. I got no fear. None. :)
S**t goes sideways in America, I'm gonna be just fine. :)
A while back I came to the same conclusion. “I wasn’t in fear of s***” is what it is all about. Not fearing death makes your life delicious. You enjoy it more. Screw it, I am having the delicious fried food. Screw it, I am going to try sky diving. etc.

I’m not surprised that you didn’t have any fear. That’s the normal reaction for someone who has studied the probability of a robbery and how they would react. When you start leaving a trail of corpses behind the police generally are not very friendly. They haven’t yet adapted to the idea of citizens defense within their area of authority. That’s where the requirement for an attorney becomes obvious.
I have been in situations where I could have legally killed my attacker but just drawing my weapon stopped the attack. Saved me a lot of fuss and paperwork which is the way I prefer it.
