I have had several recent conversation with a close relative concerning Donald Trump's periodic drifts off message and into the tall grass of issues about which, to use my relative's colorful phrase in those calls, "Nobody gives a shit", the rotund Miss Universe contestant being the most recent. During our "chat", she asked me a number of times "Does Trump listen to ANYBODY?"
We had another very animated conversation today during which she informed me that a number of her friends who had not been crazy about Trump but had come to hate Hillary to the point where they WILL vote for Trump. But his recent trips into the weeds -- and the 3am Tweets -- has got them reconsidering their support. While they are mostly well educated and thinking people of long-standing conservative persuasion, they are "uncomfortable" with his recent activities. Several of them -- clearly not sufficiently mindful of the existential nature of the Hillary threat, are thinking about either not voting or -- HORRORS -- voting for HER!
I AM -- and you on this list are -- fully aware of the threat. 4 or 8 years of Clinton will end with 30 to 40 MILLION ILLEGAL DEMOCRATS on the voter rolls and America -- the IDEA and the country we knew and loved -- will either be gone forever or will require a bloody revolution that will make the events begun on Lexington Green in 1775 look like a walk in the park to TRY to get her back!
OK, cutting to the chase: Yesterday, presumptuous me posted this to the monitored "Trump for President" FB page. The admin posted it, probably indicating that he/she shared my concerns:
"Dear Donald, We LOVE you, man. But PLEASE do us ALL a favor and PLLEEEEAAAASSSSEEEE stow your EGO in these next public appearances. We have a country to save and we desperately need you --our LAST HOPE to turn this thing around -- to NOT allow Clinton to get under your skin. Settle down...PLEASE!!!!!"
Why this vanity post? The concept of "6 degrees of separation" MAY allow us to reach someone who knows someone who....you get the idea...who knows Trump and to whom The Donald WILL listen! And if enough of us hit the social media sites with our concerns it might get to our guy.
Please pass it along. Who knows? Hey, it could happen!

Trump got so unfairly mischaracterized about the Machado affair. When one sees the whole story, one sees Donald Trump trying to help this gal for months, and she stuck around so it’s not like Donald kept ribbing her about her paunch for the whole time either.
So many times the other shoe has dropped after a salacious story bomb was dropped on Donald, and Donald hasn’t looked so foolish after all.
at this point, he is our candidate,good, bad or indifferent....

Even taking your friends at their word, theirs is not the only reaction to the Miss Venezuela `scandal`. There are likely a number of LIV`s who might have been persueded to vote against Trump had he NOT responded the way he did. All in all, defending yourself is a good thing
Your relative’s friends should be far more concerned with Hillary making ludicrous, lying personal attacks against her opponent than they are with Trump fighting back against spurious lies that are just dirty mud-slinging. He didn’t start it...she did. So why would they consider voting for the guilty party because the other person fought back against them?
That is ridiculous nonsense. It sounds as if your relative’s friends are either very confused, a bit lacking in logic, or perhaps are amongst the truly rare: Jeb! Voters.
Seriously! After defeating 16 opponents give him the benefit of the doubt. He is a lot smarter than you are. Recognize that!
Plus, this election is over anyway. Get used to saying President-elect Trump in just a few more weeks.
People are OK with a big ego if you can deliver. Examples: Patton, Ali.
Democrats will inevitably give you only a piece of the story except in the rare case where it needs the whole story to get their criticism across. And they will screech things at you intended to shut off critical thought, “isn’t this enough for you to DAMN this @#$%^&*!!?”

It takes a certain amount of ego to wake up in the morning and think: Hey, I should be leader of the free world!
If enough post this on enough social sites it will only play into the media’s hands that Trump is losing is supporters.
Frankly, if Trump loses this it will be because he wanted to lose it. And it will convince me he’s been a part of the scam all along. That would also mean so was Rudy, Newt, Christie, Kelly Ann, Hannity et al. But I just can’t believe that to be the case. So, I would have to accept that they were duped like everyone else. God, I pray I’m wrong.

Trump is a smart guy,and I have to assume his intellect can override his ego and focus on the challenge at hand.
He certainly has been pounded enough over the head by his supporters about his major weaknesses.
Don't verbally interrupt the moderators. Don't verbally interrupt the Criminal Fat, ugly, cow.
Act presidential. Obama has faked it for 8 years, it can't be that hard.
The election is yours to lose.Yours alone.
He’s going to win or lose based on who he is and the country is going to get the government it deserves via the ballot box or otherwise.
