Aptly named.
The same director's Henry and June was also a snooze-fest.
As was The English Patient.
If you want a hands-down winner for most boring film, some of Andy Warhol's movies where literally nothing happens are a good bet.
Nobody bothered watching them, though.
Close runner-up: Anything by Rainer Werner Fassbinder.
Come to think of it Michael Fassbender in Shame was also painfully boring.
Oh, did he do the English Patient too?
You know what else was dull? The Piano. Awful.
But not nearly as boring as "The Glockenspiel".
There was just no dynamics to the plot of “The Glockenspiel” :-)
The Piano was bad except for the few moments of Holly Hunter in the buff... unfortunately you got to look at Harvey Keitel too.
Same here ..... was active duty then and was a captive audience per se ... movie of the week on Shemya in the Aleutians ! Watched it 3 times to see what I missed....:o)
Good part was it was free.
Ishtar.....left after 10 minutes
Mad City with John Travolta and Dustin Hoffman.
Five minutes into the hostage situation I pleaded with them to just blow the friggin’ museum up and kill everyone. Then turned it off.
That's-a what I always hate. People mistaking me for-a somebody else!
:)
