Release too soon, and the target campaign can either counter attack, spin it away, or the voters short attention span renders it moot.

I get the timing aspect although I think media is different now. Social media can allow things to be at the forefront for longer. I’m not impatient. I think Trump can win without this stuff actually.
Release one week before the election would pretty much eliminate her ability to react.
