While putting on a brave we won! face following the first presidential debate, Hillary Clinton and her campaign is facing some very hard truths in the all-important swing state of Florida.
Namely, that Donald Trump is winning there and winning big.

Concerns have mounted within the Clinton campaign regarding the looming Florida problem for several weeks, and most recently, and despite millions in spent advertising targeting the state, Donald Trumps lead in Florida is now turning into domination.
Internal polling is said to show Trump nearing a remarkable DOUBLE-DIGIT lead in the Sunshine State over the former Obama Secretary of State and for the first time, Team Clinton has to face the very real possibility of curtailing the campaigns until now, blank check spending habits as Trump begins to challenge Clinton in historically blue states like Michigan and Maine.

Days earlier, the Clinton campaign planned multiple events in Florida, (including still scheduled events by Michelle Obama) hoping to motivate what appears to be disinterested minority voters. And then, just yesterday, Hillary Clinton was a no-show at a planned event in Hollywood, Florida. The campaign gave no public statement regarding Mrs. Clintons sudden absence, but perhaps it was the embarrassment of only a handful of supporters showing up and being outnumbered by Trump supporters standing just across the street:

If they lose Ohio and Florida, it’s over. Won’t matter how many votes they can manufacture in Philly this time :)
What gives?

There is “pulling out” and pulling out. She will certainly maintain a few offices there. But ad buys? Aggressive visits? No.
Ulsterman whose name is on DC Whispers has posted some wild stuff in the past. I recall following his posts from an administration insider who was saying that Obama was losing it and could be replaced by Biden. This was before the 2012 election. Well if his sources on this are as good as what he reported or dreamed up back then, then I would say Hillary is not planning to abandon Florida. The admission of defeat in Florida would reverberate through out the country and would weaken her in other battleground states. She may reduce spending and put up a good front, but I doubt she would bail. Now if there was a 2nd or 3rd source to confirm this then maybe wwcan celebrate and look forward to a potential tsunami.
If true, this would make the 2nd state I’ve read that she has abandoned, Ohio being the first. It’s not like she has to be careful with her spending, she has tens of millions to burn right now.
I also heard that she has been running ads in CALIFORNIA. If she thinks running ads is necessary in California, her campaign MUST be in trouble all over.
Someone is fibbing.

“I wish this were true, but I dont think so.”
Wish what was true? The article mentions that Hillary has planned events in Florida. Nobody is claiming that she has given up already.
There is not much that you can't dig up yourself that the campaign can.
Hillary isn’t winning any Southern States.
All true
You have to understand This article ruins that poster’s chance to post
Not Good
Since it’s good news .
Many concerned ones can not allow good news to stand unchallenged .
This.
Is she even campaigning?
She is trying to get her base out to vote for her, a sure sign of a losing campaign.
I doubt she is giving up on FL. Not after getting out of OH (not been there in weeks, pulling ads, etc). Thats just too much EV’s.
We have ad's running in Texas.
You are wrong. But Pepe still loves you.
Hillary is holding two rallies there today, and Bill is taking a bus tour for her in Florida starting tomorrow.
We are all aware we still have to vote, so please stop with the patronizing attitude.
In Hillsborough county we are getting a lot of Hillary commercials on every channel
Trump rallies are still packed and Hillary's are not as well attended throughout Florida - true enough
But the democrats have a formidable ground game here and are putting A LOT of money into advertising
I've got my family and everyone I know voting Trump. But we have got to recognize that Florida is going to be close and play like we're behind in the 4th QTR
Get out the vote will be everything
She’s been running many ads here in TX and still is. Seems like a waste of money.
