Not only did the civil war free blacks at the cost of thousands of Americans life, do do for the black population what they could not do for themselves.... but decades of affirmative action programs with the great expense of these at ever level of governance should have been received with gratitude......

Furthermore....As Lincoln said....All blacks descended from slaves are more than compensated for the damage of slavery by the good fortune of living in the United States. Every black in the United States is much better off economically, legally, politically, and morally than any black living in Africa.
