The temple will open to the public on Friday
The Satanic Temple opened its international headquarters in Salem, Massachusetts, on Friday.
The temple will be located at 64 Bridge St. in a Victorian home that was built in 1882 and once served as a funeral home, according to the organization.
The headquarters will house a seven-and-a-half foot bronze statue of Baphomet.
The organization will open the property to the public at the Salem Art Gallery, which will have a permanent exhibition dedicated to past and present witch-hunts called "Satanic Panic."

There will also be a media room where the organization will hold lectures, film screenings, education seminars and other events.
"I hope that this place will be here for people who want to come so people who do identify us can have a place and appreciate what we're doing," co-founder Lucien Greaves said. "But I also hope that in the very near future, anyone who objects to our presence learns to not take notice of us."
The community has taken notice, but few are concerned. As of last week, city officials had only received one complaint.
"My main concern, being a local, is protesters," said Sean McKeehan. "The negative attention that this might bring."
The organization says they do not worship the devil, but hope the Satanic symbols promote a conversation about their beliefs, which include the separation of church and state and promoting the After School Satan program.
Those involved with the organization say they will not being going door to door to spread their beliefs. They invited their neighbors inside the day before they opened to learn about what will be happening at the Satanic Temple. The Satanic Temple is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m on Sunday. Tickets are $12 per person. Published at 7:26 PM EDT on Sep 23, 2016

I agree, according to Scripture, man was not made as a bunch of robots, and like the angels, was given the ability to make decisions.
However, I am going off the reservation a bit, as you motivated a response from me on just a tiny bit of something you included about “sin”.
Before going on, I do believe we are largely on the same page in many ways.
As exemplified in the Garden of Eden, the tree Adam and Eve were not to eat from was not evil in and of itself, but disobeying God by eating its fruit was rebellion and sin against God.
Sin has been defined throughout Scripture as breaking Gods laws, or doing what He communicated we were not to do.
Sin is also defined in the Bible as not doing what He commanded one to do as well.
But the Bible goes further, it states in James 1:12-15
“12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.”
In Genesis 1:31 God looks at all of His creation, and says “it is good.”
So, God did not create sin, but did create us with the ability to decide to obey or disobey the boundaries He put in place.
So there are natural cause and effect consequences, such as substance abuse, which impairs the mind and sometimes causes accidents or physical and emotional abuse of those around us, AND there is also the consequence of God’s judgement against doing evil.
At the end of the day, just as the tree itself was not sin, but eating from the tree Adam and Eve were not to eat from was the sin, whatever elevates our own will higher than Gods, or motivates a person to do what they know to be wrong is sin.
In its most simplistic way, sin can be defined by our decision to elevate our own will above that of Gods.
Scripture is clear, God does not even tempt a person to sin.
Isn’t it interesting, that at the heart of all Satan worship, is the desire to REBEL, to dethrone God to the will of Satan and man!
There will be a general free fall in morality and a loss of charity and love generally. An “AntiChrist” system will arise that includes a person known as the “son of perdition” or Beast” He will have a prophet that speaks for him and appears to empower him and there will be an image of the beast set up so that all who see it(either in its literal presence or on TV or pictures) must fall and worship. All must be marked with the number of the beast. The Beast will suffer a mortal wound but will be healed and resurrected, indwelt most likely by Satan himself! The various powers of the world will be ruled by the Beast though it may be more of a varied level of influence. The Bible says the vast population will be given over to sin...including the idol worship the article talks about!

Though the plan to recreate Baal's arch in NYC on Earth day fell through, the rest of our conquest continues relatively unabated.
Sin attracts sin; evil attracts evil.
In our long rebellion and growing apostasy, we are becoming like a black hole pulling in more and more to ourselves.
If you look with the Holy Spirit's help, you'll "see" the signs all around us, all around the world, warning us all that we are repeating the fatal mistakes of our ancestors and we must stop ourselves.
As a "for what it's worth", this morning I was reading this and think the following "Prayer of Repentance and Deliverance" is helpful:
Lord, you have endured me all these years with my sins, but nonetheless You pitied me;We have been warned and are being warned: Time is running out on US, but not if we turn back to Him.I was led astray in every way, but now I will sin no more; I have wronged You and I have been unjust; I will be so, no more; I renounce sin, I renounce the Devil, I renounce iniquity that stains my soul; free my soul from all that is against Your holiness;
I entreat You, Lord, to rescue me from all evil; Come Jesus now, come now and abide in my heart;
Forgive me, Lord, and allow me to rest in You, For You are my Shield, my Redeemer and my Light and in You do I trust;
From today I will bless You Lord at all times;
I repudiate evil and all other gods and idols, for You are the Most High over the world, far transcending all other gods;
By Your mighty arm, rescue me from ill health, rescue me from being a captive, rescue me from trouble and defeat my enemy the Devil; come quickly to my help O Saviour!
