Carnival Cruise Lines is investigating an altercation that took place in a restaurant involving several passengers, which was all captured on video by Irie Namma.
The dispute started with a group of men and women arguing near the buffet line. The fight broke out within seconds, and chairs went flying across the room.
Carnival cruise ship security reacted fast and managed to break up the fight within seconds.
Unfortunately, the incident becomes the third cruise ship fight in 16 days. There was a fight on the Carnival Glory last week. Passengers allege that one person said something "out of line" to another.
Then, two days later on the same ship, another brawl unfolded that was described as a "catfight" between two women.
Witnesses said that the female passengers were pulling each other's hair and scratching in the cruise ship's casino.

River cruises are wonderful! Did part of the Rhine some years ago, from Cologne to Basel. Beautiful! And only 100 passengers.
Which are the better (safer) cruise lines?
Mom and her friends have done the Rhine, the upper and lower Danube, the Nile, and some others. They’ve done some trips on big ships, like the Alaska cruise-and-train tour, but decided they liked river cruising better.
They flew to Paris yesterday and depart on the cruise today. *sigh* They’ve traveled in France quite a bit, but never taken a cruise there.
There is talk of terrorism threats, but at their age (average of 80) they don’t care. “Don’t pay the ransom!” she said when she phoned on Saturday ;-).
My brother in law and his family went on one like that too. I’ve heard this happens often.
That is sad because it used to be such fun.
I cruised with Crystal. Very safe. I’d highly recommend
Is it just me or is something wrong with the headline? How did they get a cruise ship into a restaurant?
Holland America may be the “geezer” line, but their food is terrific, their ships are spotless, and their staff is terrific. We have been on three cruises with them and can’t wait to go again
have been on eight Disney cruises and have yet to see a single gay couple- you lose
I saw an amusing moment during the Giants/Redskins game yesterday. WR Odell Beckham Jr. was standing on the sidelines near the net the kicker uses to practice kicking field goals with. Beckham was frustrated I guess, and he swung his helmet at the net. That caused the net to collapse a bit and the frame hit him on the head. I’m still laughing.
They don’t call it ‘Carnival’ for nothing.
Never sailed on ‘em, never plan to..
fighting at a buffet? huh?
Back in the late 80s when I was in England, I looked into doing a cruise down the Nile. Unfortunately, that was when the Islamic Brotherhood was murdering tourists, so I canned that idea.
Carnival, huh? More like Freak Show.
35 Years later, nothings changed
“Unfortunately, that was when the Islamic Brotherhood was murdering tourists, so I canned that idea.”
Yes, things like that tend to put a damper on the fun! My grandparents were crossing on the QE ll when there was a bomb threat. The ship was dead still in the Atlantic for some time as Navy divers, or “frogmen” as they were called, searched the hull of the ship. Needless to say, the bar was open the entire time! Made for a great story.
There was a movie like that, Juggernaut (1974). Pretty decent.
Yes, the movie was based on that same event from 1972. Grandparents told that story for years!
We use Amawaterways. No kids, adults only, and limited to about 200 adults. Was fantastic!! Price keeps out the riff-raff.
Let me guess
Tropicals acting up as usual
