We have just received information that a certain Marine Corps INFANTRY BATTALION currently stationed at Camp LeJeune, North Carolina has been placed in an ALERT STATUS. All leave has been cancelled for the unit, and all Marines have been ordered back to base immediately!
Camp Lejeune
Camp Lejeune is located only a few hours away, by HUMVEE, from Charlotte, North Carolina. We are unable to confirm if this is related to the Insurrection in Charlotte. However, this is the closest location of US Military Troops to Charlotte. We will continue to bring your the latest news as it develops.
Also, we have learned that President Obama is planning to address the crisis in the next few days. We will update this article as information comes available.

It’s against the law to send active duty troops against a US population.
Thanks for knowing what you're talking about!
“His” Marines?
I hope that we do exactly NONE of that, and that I am just speculating. We do NOT need to be in another war, particularly one involving the Russians. Those guys are NOT pushovers, even discounting their nukes entirely.
Jam cell freq. cutoff internet access. If they wanted to, they can enforce OPSEC.
Has nothing to do with Charlotte. The National Guard would be the ones to respond there, if requested by the mayor and ordered by the Governor. People need to take off their tin foil hats.
Would be more concerned that he would send them to syria to fight on the side of isis and al queda against Assad and Russia.
My buddy was in a military police unit at camp pendleton during the LA riots.
The Gov of CA went as far as to ask if they could be used. With regards to my buddies unit, he was told that the gov was told that marines being deployed into south central would be way worse than doing nothing. My buddy said they wanted to go in to south central to “take care of business”.
It would have been a blood bath.
Gotta let them get their weekend “shopping” in...
I guess it would depend on whether or not the battalion has received it's sensitivity training or not. (sarcasm of course)
According to Article II, Section 2, Clause I of the Constitution, the President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama, is commander in chief of the United States Armed Forces, so, yes, those are his Marines.
They + the neo-cons seem to desperately want a war with Russia. Mind-boggling, but they keep pushing confrontation.
My battalion "2/9" did Compton, CA at the request of the Governor. This just means it is on the short list of options.
+1
Actually it does.....
"The Act only specifically applies to the United States Army and, as amended in 1956, the United States Air Force. While the Act does not explicitly mention the United States Navy and the United States Marine Corps, due to their being naval services, the Department of the Navy has prescribed regulations that are generally construed to give the Act force with respect to those services as well.
That is why President Bush had to issue an Executive order in order to mobilize the Marines from Pendleton.
" Upon request, President George H. W. Bush invoked the Insurrection Act via Executive Order 12804, federalizing the California Army National Guard and authorizing federal military personnel to help restore law and order,[64]"
Heck, I'll volunteer to come off retirement for that ...
Syria , so Obama is trying to start an all out War before he leaves ?
Does this coincide with the Saudi visit to the White Crib?
“Yea, one Marine battalion is going to enforce martial law!”
One marine battalion is going to destroy martial law. Don’t forget it Barry.
The whole damned world knows that a Marine rifle company has combat power utterly beyond all reasonable expectations. ~DesertRhino
