Washington (CNN)The cast of "The West Wing" is back -- but this time, instead of the fictional Jed Bartlet, they're backing a different Democrat for president.
Members of the massively popular NBC drama will appear with Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton at several events in Ohio on Saturday and Sunday. Actors Richard Schiff, Allison Janney, Bradley Whitford, Dulé Hill, Joshua Malina and Mary McCormack will make campaign stops in the Mahoning Valley, Cleveland, Sandusky and Toledo areas on Saturday, and in the Dayton and Columbus areas on Sunday. This isn't the first time "West Wing" -- the plot of which centers on a Democratic presidential administration -- clashes with real life.

Something tells me Lowe would redo both his lefty west wing role and his direct tv role and combine them with the following: “You see that douchy lefty Rob Lowe, well, dont be that guy.”

None of the A-listers of the cast. And none of the above group has done anything memorable or been in anything memorable since then: no one will know who they are, and since the TV show ended 10 years ago, it’s not terribly relevant today.
Nonetheless, they’ll pull in more people than Hillary alone, which still won’t be very many.
Actually, a gimmick whereby Hillary appears with famous celebrities could be useful for her, but this bunch just makes her look pathetic, as if this is the best she can do.
They, and the “Madame Secretary” cast have been campaigning on-screen for Democrats for years.
Sadly, a good portion of our populace equates TV and Hollywood with reality. It explains so much of what is wrong with this country.

Sadly, you are so right! Radio/TV could have been the greatest teaching and educational tool in the history of mankind. It could have been the greatest advancement to civilization since fire, but it quickly went the wrong direction, devolving into mind-numbing “entertainment”, and little less. Now it is mostly a political tool, and in the wrong hands. Even most modern movies have a decidedly leftist political slant.
I have a female friend that is pretty intelligent on most things, yet she thinks we need a President like the fictional Jed Bartlett from the West Wing as president even though as I pointed out to her he is a TV Liberal President.
We now have a fictional idiot played by Martin Sheen as a standard of what some people look at as a real President.
As time goes on people will actually think we had a president named Jed Bartlett and long for his days in office. LOL
Oh my God; people who PLAYED (read what other rubberheads wrote) members of a failed, politically correct administration, on a TV sitcom, are going to POSE, MINCE, and PRANCE for Hitlery.
