Without regard for discussion I've heard about Matt Drudge being a 'chaos' guy...
...twice in the past week I've had Drudge idling in another tab and had my entire browser locked up by adware mimicking a support window. I'm fully-aware it's a scam, having shared this during a recent scam/fraud presentation.
I've been visiting Drudge less & less the prior year; time to dump my cache and leave it be.

The other adware I've seen has a background website that looks like an MS support page.
Its that black triangle thing in the upper left its really a camera he can see you
I’ve never had that happen from Drudge’s website. Have you cleared your cookies and cache? Sometimes resetting your browser to its default settings helps too.
I don’t know why, but there are a number of otherwise good conservative websites that are just very user unfriendly. Another one is Breitbart. I haven’t been there in months. It’s too damned annoying.
I run Cyberfox with Ghostery and Bluehell firewall. Never had an issue.
Your browser/computer is infected with malware from another site. But, it's waiting until you are doing something else to pop-up the window. They don't want you to know where you got it.
Drudge doesn’t select his ads. A company does that for him. I wouldn’t leave it idling. Subscribe to his Twitter feed instead.
LOL. Lots of threads about that little mark lately. Glad we know what it is now.
do like me and download the “Simply Drudge” app for your phone. I takes all the ads out and so all you are left with are the headlines. Great app.
Breitbart is fine, with AdBlock and NoScript plugins enabled.
This site and Craigslist are THE easiest, best bare bones layouts on the internet. FR is much more colorful that CL, but the simplicity is similar. Both are headache-free browsing experiences.
Been addicted to Drudge since 1998 and have Never had problems with invasive ads.
Firefox + Ad blocker + strong security parameter settings = viewing pleasure.
We owe A Lot to Matt over the years.
He consistently fights the good fight, and that’s why the Dem-RINOs-FCC has been trying to shut him down.
Acknowledge it or not, much of our news story threads originate from FReepers seeing Drudge aggregated articles posted on his site, first.
Can’t imagine an Internet without Drudge...

Drudge works fine to me.
You need to get an Ad blocker for your browser, and that should resolve your trouble.
